Bridgwater College 26, Yeovil College 13 A STRONG start for Bridgwater College made them confident in their attacking in their first game against Yeovil.

Great feeding into the circle by Sammie Woolacott and Chelsea Edwards meant that Bridgwater could get a good lead at half time with the score being 11-5.

Constant tips and interceptions from the defence of Beckie Cowley and Beth Fella meant that Yeovil found it hard to get the ball to their shooters and Bridgwater came out 26-13 winners.

Bridgwater College 30, Richard Huish 9 WITH the break in between the games this showed for Bridgwater as they came out fresh and managed an 11-0 lead in the first five minutes thanks to accurate shooting from Paige Davey.

More consistency in the shots from Heather Manning meant that Bridgwater was able to go into half time with a huge lead of 14-2.

Great pressure from Emily Hoare meant that Huish made mistakes and only scored seven goals in the half.

A great team effort from Bridgwater meant that they were able to win the game 30-9 and come out overall winners and Somerset champions for 2011.
